Uncle Fred was the most gentle soul. He used to visit my Grandmother, his older sister, when he was near Phenix City. I spent hours just sitting on the porch talking to him about life. He loved his family and he loved his fans like family. Every time he spoke to anyone, he made them feel important and he always said, "Bless your heart" when someone complimented him. He never allowed fame to change his life. He was humble and loving. I miss him dearly.

Just saw a rerun on Marty Stuartโ€™s show featuring Freddie Hart. His voice was still amazing even then. I bought my granddaughters record players and they are loving all of the classic country โค๏ธ I canโ€™t wait to introduce them to his music! They are going to love him!

As I write this I am listening to one of Freddie's CDs. I still love his music to this day! I rank him right up there at the very top along with Merle, George Jones and a few others. I played in two U.S. Navy bands years ago and played many different genres of music including jazz and western swing as a civilian. I sure do miss real country music now! Bless Freddie and the Heartbeats forever!

When I first heard Easy Loving, in 1971, I was a young mother of two, in a hostile marriage. Freddie gave me hope then, that there were good men out there. I would dream that there was someone out there, that would love me, like Freddie. I did divorce, and found my sweet loving man. I happen to run across Easy Loving, recently, and loved it again, playing it for my new husband, of 43 years. We will all miss Freddie, and continue loving his music.
