What a superb talent and gentleman !! I saw him several times in concerts in the 1960's when he opened for Buck Owens and Faron Young. He was the very equal to them if not more and could hold an audience in his hand. He finished with the words "Bless Your Heart". RIP !!

Sadly another true country legend is gone... The 'epitome' of what country music should be We'll miss ya pal

My heartfelt sympathies to Freddie's family. I grew up with his songs loving them, but got to know him on Family Country's TV show. RIP Freddie. Thanks for the wonderful music through the decades of my youth and becoming a senior.

Saw Freddie at Klein’s Opry in Weston, Mo. He is the most friendly man I ever met; prior to that I was eating at a restaurant in Weston. He and his band were a table away eating and I waited for them to finish their meals and as he passed me, I said Mr Hart I have been waiting to see you in person all my life and he gave me a hug and was so happy. Then thirty minutes later he saw my wife and I at the opry house and looked so surprised to see us there, He is such a legend and will be missed by the whole world.

Freddie Hart was such as special person. Always was humble and loved and treated his fans great. Saw Freddie the summer of 1975 at fan fair in Nashville. The first was at a taping of Pop Goes the Country. Crystal Gayle was also on the show. Later Freddie performed at the Capitol Records show. Also saw him in Melbourne,Fl. It was a package show, This just after Ronnie MIlsap won Entertainer Of The Year CMA. Joe Stampley was also on the show. Talked with Freddie very briefly. His bus was towed to the venue. His music was so heartfelt. Freddie was a Christian man. Rest in peace!!

I was very thankful to Freddie over the last 10+ years. He and my dad were best friends and spent a lot of time together, including the yearly Superbowl Sundays. Freddie sang one of his new songs at my dad's memorial service which I will forever appreciate. RIP Freddie, tell my dad I love and miss him.
